Wolfram Sievers, collector of skulls
Wolfram Sievers was the Executive Secretary of "Ahnenerbe," the Ancestral Heritage Society. The Society was part of the Institute for Military Scientific Research. He was entrusted with the direction of the Institute.
He was originally a book dealer.
One of his main interests was a collection of skulls. When the French forces liberated Strassburg, the area in which Sievers operated, they found many unprocessed, and some partly processed, skulls.
Like the others, Sievers pled not guilty in the trial. He was found guilty, however, and was hanged.
